As with ePrescribing, StreamlineEHR™ enables you, with only a few taps on a screen, to send a message to a lab notifying it of services to be performed. This will dramatically reduce call-backs from the laboratory and confusion over what tests to perform. Results will be returned electronically. This means they cannot be misfiled or left in the open, as paper files can. Because lab results are routed to a “to-do” box on your computer, they will never be overlooked.
